These are from my garden. The deep pink one was one I got last year
The white one is not mine, its a lovely creamy white and I think I will look to add that to my collection.
This yellow beauty was out in Alden and I want one........I will have to actually go to a greenhouse I think. Maybe ordering one from a catalogue. Has anyone done that? What are the results, do they do well? I am a bit wary about catalogues because they are usually really whimpy specimens and do they actually grow????

I have shown this one before and its still blooming and doing well.
This one just bloomed.
I will have more blooming soon. I am not sure what still has to come out but they make my garden much more interesting and I will never think twice now about buying more.

I'm thinking of adding some more to where my oranges ones are, or possibly even some iris. My lilies are very tall though and require tomato cages around them so they don't fall over. Do you know if there are other, shorter varieties?
Gorgeous photos ;o) We have lilies too ;o) I have bought from the magazines and I wouldn't do it again. They have a good warranty, but the plants come with just roots, no growth! LOL! Big Hugs ;o)

Beautiful lilies! There are so many nice varieties. I went to Lowes and they have a lot of asiatic lilies in right now. I think you split them up by the bulb. Nice to meet a fellow Michigander! If you go to Traverse City- visit N. Manitou Gardens if you want a variety of day lilies they have the most!

If you are going to order daylilies try Tranquil Lake Nursery in Rehoboth MA They have a great website too. This is where mine come from. I have ordered others that take 3 yrs. to bloom.
