This blog is about my garden and the outdoors. I am new to photography but I am trying to show some of the pretty things that grow here in Michigan. I love the wild things who visit me and I dont mind if they eat a bit here and there. I like it more if they let me take their picture. As time goes on I think I will try to show you around the beautiful area that I live in as well as my garden. I try to use my own pictures as much as possible but will also use pictures from the web. If I inadvertently use your photo or work without permission please email me and I will remove it or give credit if you prefer. I will give credit when I know who the owner is. I would ask that anyone using my pictures do the same.

After the Rain..............
Anyone guess what this is?
A daisy.......they are workhorses in the garden. They do not seem to like my garden. I replant every few years
This is one of the plants from last year, I was not expecting it to come back but here it is.
Old fashioned Day Lily........so reliable and really so pretty
Some lovely colours in the garden today. I keep taking pictures of the lily but I cant help it they are awesome
I love the colours of my hydrangea
I am not sure what this is called, its tall and bright scarlet. Looks like a bird of paradise......from one picture I found this is what I found Crocosmia 'Lucifer'
The Yellow daisies are just coming out, soon there will be clumps of them.
Oh yes and the close up picture, this is what it was.

I would call it feather ghost bush because thats what it looks like, love all your flowers with raindrops on them.
