On the Beach at Ferring.............

Although you may not be able to read this too well, it may give a bit of insight into the variety of life on and around the beach.Every beach is different. This is vastly different from our beautiful Michigan fresh water beaches. So it holds a different fascination.

I have seen seaweeds on many beaches in England but here there were quite a variety in a small space.

Not a lot in way of sea shells but I bet if I had time I could find some pretty ones. Lots of cuttlefish.

The pebbles looked really interesting and I knew that me and Laura could sit for hours there poking through them. As there was no chance of taking any home I didn't even look.
Check out this little guy.............

Everyone out walking, or on the way to breakfast at the Bluebird on the beach.

Old fashioned changing huts are now holiday properties that become your own little room on the beach, fitted with a hot plate and couches and chairs to relax and enjoy the views.

  1. Lovely study of beach activity and it would be fun to delve through all the different types of seaweed. I never did this when I was in England but certainly do now when I get the chance. I have always loved those beach huts. They had them at Paignton in South Devon when I lived there and still do no doubt.
